  • Is it possible to mount panniers on this bike?
Question asked by Kujdesi Martini on 17/05/2022 22:46:06
I can confirm there are suitable mounts on the frame for a rear rack for panniers.
  • whats the range of tyre sizes i can put on this bike?
Question asked by tris on 14/10/2021 15:27:37
The maximum tyre size is 35mm on this bike
  • Are you able to peel off the Trek logo etc. or is that permanent on the frame?
Question asked by Lucien on 02/10/2021 08:28:39
The frame decals are underneath a clear coat lacquer, and therefore cannot be removed from the frame
  • Does the bike come with pedals?
Question asked by Lucien on 01/10/2021 22:17:42

I am afraid this model does not come with pedals supplied so you would need to purchase them separately.

  • Can this bike be used as a gravel bike.?
Question asked by Martin on 04/08/2021 19:00:13
It can fit up to 35mm tyres, so something like 32mm with a tread would be ideal
  • What size pedals do I need for this bike?
Question asked by Dan on 09/07/2021 00:21:51
This model takes pedals with a 9/16" thread so the vast majority of pedals we list will fit.

Just be careful to avoid anything that says 1/2" as these will be too small.
  • How do I change gear without gear levers. There appear to be non on the frame.
Question asked by David Jones on 18/06/2021 21:18:49
This model has intergrated brakes and shifters.

To change gear the brake lever pivot inwards to move between the gears.

  • What pedal can you recommend for this bike?
Question asked by David Villars on 25/03/2021 16:36:42
The two most common types of pedals are clipless (or clip-in) and flat (a basic nylon or metal flat design).
    • Clipless pedals require cleats, which are attached to the shoe and snap into the pedal.
    • There are various clip-in pedal systems, including Shimano's SPD, SPD-SL, Speedway, and Crank Brothers.
Road cyclists typically use an SPD-SL system (clipless) as illustrated in this link which will require a specific shoe https://bike.shimano.com/en-US/technologies/component/details/spd-sl.html

An alternative is the SPD system (clipless) as illustrated in this link, again it does require a specific shoe https://bike.shimano.com/en-EU/technologies/component/details/spd.html

Give our Support Team a call or pop into one of our stores and we will be adble to adentify the best pedals based on your specific requirements.
  • Where is this bike made?
Question asked by Jeff Yu on 30/04/2023 00:29:58
Although Trek's headquarters are based in Wisconsin, USA,their components and bikes are manufactured across the world, primarily in the Netherlands, China, Taiwan and Germany
  • With disk brakes, does the front wheel come off easily to fit into my car?
Question asked by Matt on 21/04/2023 18:38:47
The front wheel can be removed easily. Simply undo the thru-axle and then remove the wheel.
  • What are the wheel sizes that come with the bike?
Question asked by Mark Kirzon on 13/07/2022 00:07:50
This bike is supplied fitted with 700c wheels which is the standard size for a roadbike. All road and cyclocross bikes are built with 700c wheels, which are29 inches. However, 700c wheels are designed to accommodate a thinner tire. Many come in widths ranging from 23 to 28 millimeters, with touring tires ranging from 28 to 38 millimeters.
