At Balfe’s we pride ourselves on our top-quality service and going the extra mile for our customers, which is why we chose to set up our very own Balfe’s Personal Delivery Service. We like to think of this as bringing the shopfloor straight to your front door – you’ll get all the perks of visiting your local bike shop to purchase your new bike, without ever having to leave the comfort of your own home. This means your bike will be delivered by us personally, you won’t need to unbox/unpack it and it will be fully built/ready to ride with pedals fitted (if supplied). Deliveries are made Monday – Friday between 9am and 4pm. We will contact you the day before to provide a time slot.

The first phase of the delivery process starts at our workshop, where one of our qualified bike builders will unbox your bike, and build it up to the point where all it needs is for the handlebars to be straightened and pedals fitted (if supplied) once we arrive at your home.

The bike will then be handed over to our drivers, who will carefully load it on to one of our Balfe’s branded vans ready to make the journey over to you!

Once we arrive at your residence, we’ll find a suitable parking spot and come to let you know we’ve arrived.

We’ll then go through the process of finishing off your bike, removing any remaining protection, and straightening the handlebars/fitting the pedals (if supplied).

Our driver will then be happy to talk you through the bike, and help with any final bits of setup (helping you get your seat height right for example) or answer any questions you may have.

Once our driver knows you’re happy, they’ll hand over all your relevant documents and leave you to enjoy ‘New Bike Day!’
