RockShox has issued an important safety notice affecting selected RockShox ZEB suspension forks manufactured during 2026. The manufacturer is currently investigating a potential issue that could cause a sudden loss of air pressure during use, potentially affecting the fork’s performance and rider safety.
Which forks are affected?
The notice applies to the following RockShox models with serial numbers ranging from 07T6XXXXXXXX to 42T6XXXXXXXX:
- RockShox ZEB Ultimate
- RockShox ZEB Ultimate Flight Attendant
- RockShox ZEB Select+
- RockShox ZEB Select
What should you do?
If you own one of the above forks, please check its serial number, which can be found on the back of the fork crown.
If your serial number falls within the affected range, stop riding your bike immediately until further guidance is provided by RockShox.
Please do not attempt to service, dismantle or repair the fork yourself. RockShox is currently investigating the issue and will provide further instructions on the appropriate next steps.
What happens next?
RockShox is working to complete its investigation and confirm what action, if any, is required. The manufacturer has stated that any necessary remedial work will be carried out at no cost to affected riders.
If you believe your bike may be affected and purchased it from Balfe’s Bikes, please contact the team for assistance. If you purchased your bike or fork elsewhere, please contact the original retailer, or contact our support team.
