The new 2021 Stumpjumper EVO mountain bikes from Specialized are more adjustable and capable than ever, and are ready to take on the gnarliest of trails:

The Stumpjumper name has been in Specialized’s line up for decades and has always been represented by bikes at the cutting edge of design. The latest EVO’s are no exception, being designed to deliver unprecedented control and capability on hardcore trails while retaining unexpectedly good climbing characteristics and there’s also an EVO LTD version for mullet bike fans.

Available in six style-specific sizes, the Stumpjumper EVO sets the benchmark for progressive trail geometry, delivering DH capability never before found in a 150mm bike alongside lively climbing manners. The generous cockpit gives you room to work, and the bike is designed to keep you centred for optimum traction and corner control.

The low bottom bracket, slack headtube angle and reduced fork offset keep things stable in the rough, while giving you the freedom to rip through turns, while short chainstays keep things nimble and flickable. A steeper seat tube optimizes power output and puts your weight over the front while climbing.

The EVO’s 160mm front and 150mm rear suspension travel feels bottomless on big drops, supple on small bumps, devours square-edged hits, yet still pedals responsively and climbs like a lightweight.

The Sidearm chassis minimizes twist and and allows Specialized to create a super strong frame with exceptional ride quality that’s still incredibly light.

The SWAT™ door on the Stumpjumper EVO is a great touch. A simple pull and twist of the bottle cage reveals a downtube storage compartment with enough space to store 22oz of water in an included, specifically designed bladder, or some tubes and a
rain jacket.

If you like to push the limits on the most challenging terrain, then ride back up for another blast, Stumpjumper EVO should be on your watchlist.
