Find our Fulham Store

Fulham is our 4th bicycle shop and bike workshop and opened 18th November 2019. Within our Fulham store you will find an array of products and brands to cater for the commuting, family and leisure cyclist. We always have around 100 bikes on display available for immediate delivery.

Our bike ranges are tailored towards our local customers who often ride to work or school or for the slightly more adventurous head out at the weekends to the countryside or do the occasional sportive.

When visiting our store, you will find a comprehensive range of hybrid bikes covering all prices points, Brompton folding bikes for immediate collection in an array of specifications and custom colours. We always have a wide selection of Frog kids bikes on display and for most models we also have demo bikes available for your little ones to test. For road we stock a comprehensive range of entry priced bikes suitable for recreational and sportive riders. Our gravel road bike range is continuing to expand as an increasing number of our customers like the flexibility and durability which gravel road bikes offer, especially with the seemingly ever deteriorating road conditions!

Accessory-wise, we stock a good selection of all those essential parts you need to cycle through the year, including Endura and Castelli clothing, Moon Lights, Ortlieb panniers, Tubus racks and Kryptonite locks.

Our workshop is an accredited Shimano Service Centre and our technicians accredited to service Shimano and Bosch Electric Bikes.

Whilst your bike is being repaired or serviced, we utilize a Rozone Bike Parts Washer to clean the moving parts. Rozone Bike Washers use a natural cleaning process called bioremediation to clean and degrease your bike which avoids the need for using non-environmentally solvents.

We service & repair all types of bikes, all ages shapes and sizes. Whilst we encourage booking online equally, we will always do our best to keep you riding and complete those on the stop emergency punctures and repairs whenever possible.

Meet the Manager

Store Manager: Dan

Daniel has been a part of Balfe’s bikes since early 2016 as one of our store managers. He has exceptional knowledge of the current range of Bicycles and accessories from E-MTBs to the newest range of MIPS helmets. Dan currently rides a Genesis Latitude hardtail which is on commuting duties as the rest of his bikes are in pieces awaiting to be put together!

Assistant Manager: Adam

Adam has been cycling for over 10 years and has a huge interest in long distance endurance cycling and Gravel riding. He's worked as a London cycle courier for 7 years and teamed up with cycling brands and magazines around the world as a photographer. Now he's joined the team at Balfe’s Bikes so he can continue working around what he loves most in life… BIKES! His favourite bike is his Genesis Fugio 30. It’s been amazing so far on his latest bike packing trips. His goal in life is to explore as much of the world as possible by bike.

Workshop Mechanic: Edward

Ed is a Profoundly Deaf mechanic with over 10 years of experience in the cycling industry and zero years experience of driving a car.

While he have been riding almost daily since he was a teenager usually on a track bike, he goes touring whenever possible, sometime on unconventional bicycles; from riding a fixed wheel bicycle from London to Morocco, climbing to the summit of a Pyrenees mountain on a slick tyres cyclocross bicycle and doing stupidly long audaxes within a work week that take most people a couple of months doing the same distance.

He is also bald.

Workshop Manager: Alessandro

Alessandro has been on the fast track in his career with bicycles having started as a bike builder in 2019. Before that he had been around bikes since he was a toddler and grew up exploring the hills and woods of southern Italy on his bikes. He loves old-school bicycles but after a pint or two you might get him to admit that the new technologies can (maybe) be good too. At the moment he’s working on his Dawes Super Galaxy and studying frame building in his spare time.
