The Giant Trance 3 is a full-suspension aluminium trail bike that is just as at home on trails and XC loops as it is on Alpine adventures and even enduro races.
This is a trail bike that thrives in the most challenging conditions. The frameset is engineered with a lightweight yet super strong and stiff ALUXX SL aluminium frame. It has Giant's own updated Maestro rear suspension featuring a trunnion-mount shock and Advanced Forged Carbon Composite rocker arm to soak up bumps small and large. You get 140mm of smooth, active rear travel from the RockShox Deluxe Select that gives you the traction and control you need to be one with the trail. Frame geometry is designed around its 27.5 wheels, which deliver both speed and control on rugged terrain. The dropper seatpost allows you to instantly adapt to changing terrain. Just spot your line, point it and go.
Up front, you have a 150mm RockShox 35 Gold RL suspension fork which has the chassis stiffness of more expensive models and also features the trusted and highly tuneable DebonAir air spring. The one-by SRAM Eagle drivetrain uses the technology from much higher end groupsets to give riders a massive 454% gear range and the internally routed cables produce clean lines on the frame.
The Trance 3 combines excellent climbing efficiency with confident descending ability which allows it, as a mid-travel bike, to do-it-all.
