Find our Islington Store
Islington is our 7th store, opened in January 2021.
Within our Islington store you will find an array of products and brands to cater for all types of cyclists. We always have around 70 bikes on display available for immediate delivery.

We stock a great selection of all those essential parts, clothing and accessories you need to cycle throughout the year.

Our workshop is run by professional mechanics, an accredited Shimano Service Centre and accredited to service Bosch and Shimano Electric Bikes.
Whilst your bike is being repaired or serviced, we utilize a Rozone Bike Parts Washer to clean the moving parts. Rozone Bike Washers use a natural cleaning process called bioremediation to clean and degrease your bike which avoids the need for using non-environmentally solvents.
We service & repair all types of bikes, all ages shapes and sizes and even the occasional unicycle. Whilst we encourage booking online, equally we will always do our best to keep you riding and complete those on the spot emergency punctures and repairs whenever possible.

Meet the Managers

Store Manager: Sergio Sérgio has been cycling for over 30 years. He started as a teen on a mountain bike in the hills of north Portugal, then commuting to uni on the steep cobbled streets of Porto. In the UK, cycling is his main mode of transportation. Above all he enjoys the freedom and adventure of bike touring across Europe, preferably with a river to jump into at the end of a long summer day's ride. He has a Genesis Croix de Fer for those exploits, and a BMC GrandFondo for weekend rides out of London. After his passion for bikes led to volunteering with World Bicycle Relief, and custom frame painting at home, Sérgio left academia to join Balfe's, where he loves to share his enthusiasm and knowledge of bikes with customers. | Workshop Manager: Stu I've been cycling for 30 years now, first getting into mountain biking in the early 90's boom. I raced x-country and downhill and competed in two World Cup XC events. I have been a mechanic for over 25 year and enjoy keeping up with all the new technologies and have a love for retro & vintage bikes. I currently ride a 1970's Raleigh 531 road bike and I'm halfway through a full restoration of a 1992 Alpinestars Cro-Mega XT mountain bike. |
