ALLEZ EVERY DAY

For five decades, the Brompton folding bike has been an indispensable tool for those who like to do things differently – transforming how people move in and around cities across the globe. Like us, the Tour de France does things its own way. What started as a visionary idea in 1903 is now the biggest race on earth. Billions of viewers follow teams of male and female riders over 30 days of racing – commitment, suffering, and sweet euphoria play out across fan-lined roads and mountains.
We might be from different ends of the cycling spectrum, but we’re united in our belief that bikes have the power to change everyone and anyone’s world. Racing Alpe d’Huez or pedalling through the city, the sense of joy and possibility is shared. Once you know it, it never leaves you. We celebrate that feeling with two limited-edition Brompton x Tour de France bikes. For the riders. For the fans.
HOW IT's MADE1. The unique photography designs are transferred onto a thermoforming film using specialised inks.
2. The film is vacuum formed around the frame.
3. The frames are placed inside a custom-built machine and heated to a specific temperature.
4. The heat facilitates the cross-linking of the polymers, effectively transferring the print to the frame. Pressure is applied to ensure the ink penetrates deeply.
5. Once cooled the film is removed, et voila!
Handlebar TypeLow: Shorter riders will find this a good all-round position and taller riders will be in a lower, sporty ride position, which may be preferable if the rider is used to a road bike.
Mid: Our classic handlebar shape, which for most riders provides an all-round, neutral position. Shorter riders will find this offers a more upright, leisurely position and taller riders will find this still gives a slightly sporty position.
