FAQs:Q: What kind of stuff can I carry with it?A: The Monkey Bars are really a set of roof cross-bars that can be attached to just about any car without the need for factory or aftermarket-installed rails, so whatever you can strap to those bars is generally okay. In addition to paddle boards and surfboards, people use SeaSucker racks to carry bicycles, kayaks, canoes, ladders, and lumber, among other things.
Q: Do the bars fold or break down for easy storage?A: The bars are actually two sections coupled together in the centre. You can unscrew them for storage. So save the caps that came with the rack to protect the exposed threads from damage when unscrewed.
Q: Can the bars be lengthened/shortened?A: The Monkey Bars Extension Kit comes with two 30cm add-on bars (one for front and one for back), so you could convert your standard 120cm Monkeys Bars (comprised of two 60cm bars) to 150cm.
Q: Can the vacuum mounts be repositioned on the Monkey Bars?A: Yes; the clamps that hold the vacuum mounts to the cross bars can be loosened and moved to a new position. Don’t forget to retighten them! The tool you need for this comes in the box.
