Fantastic Battery - Developed with experts at Williams Advanced Engineering, the electric system utilises Formula E car racing technology to deliver a 300wh lithium-ion battery in a lightweight 2.2kg package. So, you are never weighed down. Remove and attach the battery pack bag with one quick click. Carry it and plug it in wherever suits. Fully charge in 4 hours, or boost for less if you're short on time, and we squeezed in an integrated USB port for charging your phone.
Fantastic Motor - The integrated 250w hub motor delivers performance and portability. The compact design packs in the power while maintaining the Bromptons' famously small folding dimensions so you can take it with you. Rush-hour trains, underground, overground, on boats or in car boots. Under desks, coffee shop tables or busy hallways—no need to leave it outside. Or worry about storage. Just enjoy the ride.
Fantastic Design - Every Brompton Electric is holistically designed, developed, and rigorously tested to perform - safely. Critical mechanical and frame parts are reinforced to withstand the different forces electric power brings. The custom-developed system minimises potential electromagnetic interference. The added torque sensor in the bottom bracket gives a smooth, stable and more efficient ride.

Handlebar Type- 2 types offer different riding positions for varying heights of rider and styles of riding:
Mid: Brompton's classic handlebar shape, which for most riders provides an all-round, neutral position. Shorter riders will find this offers a more upright, leisurely position and taller riders will find this still gives a slightly sporty position.
High: Brompton's classic handlebar shape, at an elevated height (6 cm higher in the bike stem). Taller riders will find this offers a more neutral position and anyone shorter will feel close to upright, similar in style to a traditional Dutch bike.
Information on Seatpost Length - Balfe's offer the Standard post (comes fitted to mid handlebar models) and Extended post (comes fitted to high handlebar models) on our bikes, however the telescopic post is available to purchase separately:
Standard: Suitable for those with an inside leg measurement of 33 inches / 84 cm maximum.
Extended: 2.5 inches / 60mm longer than the standard. This seatpost option does leave the saddle higher when the bike is folded and therefore the below option may suit you if you wish to keep the bike as small as possible when folded.
Telescopic: Designed for those with an inside leg greater than 35 inches / 89cm
Warranty Information for Brompton:
All new Brompton bicycles registered with Brompton are covered by a 7-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing and material defects for the main frame components, commencing from the date of sale.
All Electric parts on the Electric P Line and Electric C Line are covered by a 2-year warranty. 3 years if you register your bike.
Other non-wearing parts on the bicycle (e.g. crank arms, brake calipers, mudguards, etc.) and other parts and accessories are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects.
Bicycles not registered are subject to a 2-year warranty on the mainframe components, commencing from the date of sale.
