The Whyte 629 V3 2021 Men’s Hardtail Mountain Bike features a 12-speed Shimano drivetrain, a new Rockshox 35 Gold suspension fork, and a trail-dedicated spec with the attention to detail of a British bike brand.
The latest Whyte 629 features Whyte's proprietary OTO & SCR technology to bring increased balance and control to the 29er trail hardtail category. For this season, the Whyte dropper post has been upgraded for greater control on steep descents. The 629 also comes fitted with wider 27mm rims and bigger Maxxis 2.3 Hi Roller tyres, giving it true trail bike credentials with a stronger wheel package and higher air volume to absorb the trail chatter.
Like all Whyte bikes, the 629 MTB is designed in the UK and has features specifically designed for coping with British trail conditions, such as the "Get A Grip" seat post clamp system. This allows quick adjustment, fantastic weather proofing and a perfectly shaped ergonomic lever which is easy to operate however wet and cold your hands might be.
