Developed with pure speed in mind, it has been engineered with aerodynamic optimisation featuring the Pirelli Advanced Aero System (PAAS), a patent-pending technology designed to reduce flow separation and maximise the rim sailing effect, lowering overall aerodynamic drag. Made in Italy with a slick tread design, fine-tuned micro texture, and integrated aero features, this tyre represents the fastest of the P Zero Race range for road and time trial racing.
Compound and Construction
The tyre introduces the new Litecore construction, which is the lightest and most efficient tubeless-ready (TLR) casing in the range, delivering an exceptionally supple ride feel and outstanding low rolling-resistance performance. The SmartEVO2 compound ensures excellent grip and control in both dry and wet road conditions. This advanced smart polymer blend is derived from Pirelli's motorsport know-how.
Aerodynamic Design
The PAAS technology is CFD-developed and includes multiple aerodynamic features aimed at increasing the efficiency of the tyre and wheel system. The patent-pending profile shape creates a seamless connection with the rim to keep the airflow attached, designed to work at its best with modern wide rims.
Compatibility
Developed on ETRTO standards for modern wide rims, these tyres are compatible with hookless rims, subject to the specified maximum pressure limitations.
