The G23 gets its name from its 23mm internal rim width and is optimised for 35 to 45mm tyres, with a 40mm tyre hitting the sweet spot of maximum versatility, speed and efficiency. With a weight of just 330g, the G23 is Enve's lightest 700c carbon clincher rim, meaning it accelerates quickly and ascends with ease. However, it is not designed to be treated delicately – Enve's G series wheels have been tested to MTB standards and tailored to the demands of gravel riding.
The rim has been designed with a bell-shaped profile for more vertical compliance and energy absorption. The result is a more comfortable and confidence-inspiring ride feel, with added impact toughness that ultimately makes for faster riding. The G23 is tough and relentless on road, path or trail, whether You are riding hard or going for a week-long adventure.
The wide and shallow rim geometry gives a compliant ride quality over chatter, and allows for use with a wide range of tyre sizes. Big tyres equal big grip, which gives the G23 confidence-inspiring descending capability over its road-oriented siblings.

Lightness and Width:
Enve set out to create a wheel that would maximise speed, fun and reliability while riding out-there terrain. At only 330 grams, the G23 is the lightest 700c tubeless rim Enve produces. This makes for instant acceleration and endless ascending capability.
Tyre Saving Technology:
With an inner rim width of 23mm, the G23 is designed to be paired with gravel treads between 35 and 45mm. Tyres in these widths provide control and traction that optimise the experience of gravel riding endeavours. Many tyres in this specification however do not offer much by way of pinch-flat protection. The forward-looking G23 uses Enve's Wide Hookless Bead anti-flat technology to combat ride-ending pothole encounters. Wide beads provide a larger, more forgiving surface during bottom outs, protecting the tyre from the dreaded pinch-flat. This technology means You can ride the tyre pressures You want, confidently, without limitations.
Tubeless Dominance:
G series wheels are intended for tubeless applications and feature a moulded bead-lock to ensure that Your tyres will remain secure and sealed to the rim over even the roughest terrain. Despite ‘minimum PSI’ markings to the contrary, many riders are experimenting with pressure setting in the 20s, thanks to the bead-lock and Wide Hookless Bead technologies.
Warranty and Protection:
The Enve G23 700c gravel wheelset comes with Enve's leading factory limited warranty and incidental damage protection. The factory limited warranty protects buyers for five years from defects in material and workmanship, while the incidental damage protection gives protection from damage caused to their wheels while riding, crashing or transporting bikes. Beyond these three years, there is a prorated discount structure available.
