The Peruzzo Pure Instinct is a versatile car roof rack designed for single bike transport, suitable for use on either side of a vehicle. This unique and patented carrier is quick and easy to attach to roof bars, with T-adaptors included for convenience.
Design and Functionality
The carrier features a 360° rotating arm head, allowing for attachment at various points and enabling the bike to be mounted facing either direction. An adjustable clutch mechanism on the arm system holds it in the correct position while you load your bike. Once the bike is in position, a simple system activated from the base closes the clamp jaws, while a handy lever allows for easy release.
The construction includes an aluminium track and a steel arm treated with anti-scratch paint. Rubber protection is provided at all contact points, including the frame-to-grab arm, wheels-to-holders, and carrier-to-bars. The wheel holders are equipped with easy-to-use ratchet straps for secure transport.
Compatibility and Security
The automatic locking system makes this carrier ideal for carbon frame bikes. It is compatible with a wide range of frame sizes and wheel dimensions. The unit is designed to be secure, locking the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the roof bar. Please note that for roof bars without a T-cave, an optional accessory kit is available, and specific adaptors may be required for certain bar types.
