The Castelli Perfetto RoS 2 Women's Vest has been designed with perfection in mind. Castelli's team wanted a light vest that would pack easily down into a pocket, to be taken on any ride 'just in case', but also wanted it to be sturdy enough to resist splashes and provide warmth and wind protection, while letting sweat escape.
The resulting vest is composed of a mixture of GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® 203 Stretch fabric at the front and sleeves, offering windproofing with breathability, and stretchy Nano Flex fabric at the back, which is water repellent and lets in enough wind to let you stay dry, without getting cold.
It offers a form-fitting fit, with a collar to keep your neck warm, along with 360˚ visibility thanks to a reflective band below the pockets and another around the arm holes. This second version has been improved from its original design with an extra pocket and a two-way zip that can be used to adjust the vest's ventilation on the fly.
Compact and light enough to always carry, this smart vest will keep you warm on a cool day when the wind picks up unexpectantly or the roads are throwing up spray. Perfection indeed!
