The Race Face Direct Mount Single ring is designed and machined in the Vancouver, BC facility, and tested on the North Shore and in the Whistler Bike Park. These rings deliver substantial weight savings compared to a standard SRAM chainring and spider combo.
The design features a Narrow/Wide tooth configuration to ensure ultimate chain retention. The rings are constructed from 7075-T6 aluminium for aerospace-grade strength, with a stiff 4mm plate thickness to transfer loads without flexing.
These rings fit SRAM GXP cranks with a removable spider. They replace your existing chainring and spider, which are attached via three bolts on the back of the spider. Simply remove the spider and use the same three bolts to re-attach the Race Face Direct Mount ring.
Compatibility includes SRAM X9, X0, XX1, and Truvativ AKA cranks, as well as some OE cranks including the SRAM S1400, S2200, and S2210. Newer S1400 or X7 cranksets are also compatible. Please note that these rings are not compatible with Shimano 12-speed chains.
