The Praxis Alba GR DM X is a forged alloy crankset designed specifically for gravel bikes using wider chainline groupsets, such as Shimano GRX or SRAM Wide. It is a performance-oriented alloy road crank compatible with 10, 11, and 12-speed drivetrains.
The crankset features 48/32 gearing with lightweight LevaTime II X-RINGS and alloy chainring bolts. It is engineered with a 47mm chainline to ensure compatibility with Shimano 2x GRX and SRAM 2x WIDE front derailleurs. The system includes an 8mm alloy main crank bolt for installation and self-extraction.
It requires the Praxis M30 bottom bracket, which features a 30mm drive bearing and a 28mm non-drive bearing. The M30 bottom bracket is compatible with various standards including BSA, BB86, T47, BB30, PF30, 386EVO, and BBRight. The crankset is compatible with both mechanical and electronic shifting systems, including Shimano Di2 and SRAM eTap. It also supports various after-market power meters, such as Power2Max, SRM, Garmin Vector 3, Look Exakt, Favero Assioma, and Velocomp Power Pod.
