As its name suggests, the pads at your chest and shoulders are D30® GhostTM pads, designed to be thin and flexible. Thanks to Impact PrintTM technology, they also mould to offer an unrivalled fit, so you can put the undershirt on and forget about them.
Safety is never compromised in the name of comfort, though. D30TM pads exceed the required CE Level 1 certification, so you can be certain your PPE is fit for purpose. The protection for your back amps things up a notch, with the D30® Viper pad being thicker, exceeding Level 2 certification and offering ample spinal coverage to help keep you safe in the event of an impact or off.
A bonus safety feature is the moulded PU side pads, which will shield your ribs from errant branches or impact with rough surfaces. Meanwhile, the body of the base layer is light, stretchy and breathable, with engineered ventilation zones under the arms and small perforations to ensure you'll stay cool when you're working hard – which is when its protection is most likely to be needed!
All the while, a Pad Anchor System will ensure your pads stay precisely over vulnerable areas of your upper body. Perfect pad placement is further assured by the presence of silicone infused sleeve and a ¾ length zipper down the left side of the garment that dials in a snug fit.
