Built with an in-mould polycarbonate shell and EPS liner, the Shelter Youth is lightweight yet protective, with extended coverage at the back of the head for added reassurance on technical terrain. The integrated visor blends seamlessly into the shell, delivering a clean, aggressive look without unnecessary bulk.
At its core is the MIPS® Brain Protection System, engineered to reduce harmful rotational forces during certain impacts by allowing controlled movement between the helmet and the head. Combined with MET’s Safe-T Sport fit system and a 360° head belt, the helmet delivers a secure, pressure-free fit that stays comfortable on long rides.
Twelve well-positioned vents work with internal air channelling to keep young riders cool, while practical touches like sunglasses ports and rear USB LED compatibility make it versatile for trail riding and e-MTB use.
