Designed for winter riding and colder conditions, this technical base layer combines excellent breathability, moisture management and fast-drying performance to help regulate body temperature as effort levels change. The soft, textured interior provides comfortable next-to-skin warmth while maintaining the close fit needed for effective layering.
An integrated neck warmer provides additional protection when temperatures drop. It can be pulled up to cover the mouth and ears for greater cold-weather coverage, adding versatility without requiring a separate neck warmer.
Designed to sit close to the skin, the Men's Thermal Base Layer fits beneath Rapha jerseys and jackets. Wear it under a thermal jersey or jacket during winter, or beneath a midweight jersey when additional warmth is required in spring and cooler conditions.

Our staff find that Rapha generally fits true to size, but the intended fit varies by collection. Core, Classic and Brevet offer progressively more accommodating cycling fits, while Pro Team garments are deliberately close-fitting and aerodynamic. Trail and casual garments have a more relaxed cut. If you're between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort or the smaller size for a closer performance fit. Bib shorts are an exception to the sizing up rule – they're supposed to fit snugly, and sizing up can compromise the position of the pad and overall support.
