The calliper is not only stiffer, but lighter too, with phenomenal pad clearance for rub-free operation. All that and SRAM still managed to remove 83 g from the pair.

All wireless systems require a battery to make those smooth gear changes. The SRAM Red eTap Battery Charger and Cord will ensure your battery is fully charged, a complete charge can take just 45 minutes.

The eTap system is all about efficiency, to remove the battery just flip the tool-free battery latch up and slide the battery up and out of the derailleur. Then snap the battery into the USB powered charger and connect the charger to any USB power source or A/C USB adaptor.
