Wahoo ELEMNT ROAM Gen 2

Wahoo's latest incarnation of their range-topping Elemnt Roam has added a host of new features and software to the popular model.

Now with more colours, greater contrast and storage, the dual-band GPS will be more accurate. New software features include Summit Segments, Outdoor Workouts with Wahoo X and public route sharing. The dual-band addition makes it the first Wahoo model to use this technology. Wahoo claim this will deliver an enhanced and more accurate navigation experience, more so in areas where GPS signal can be limited, think forests or urban areas.

The increased storage allows the new Elemnt Roam to have the most detailed maps in their range. The new 64-colour screen lets the details stand out. The new climbing feature makes use of the extra colours.

Another change for this version is the inclusion of USB-C charging.

New Features:

New Software Features:

• Outdoor workouts with Wahoo X: ELEMNT ROAM uses Wahoo X to keep you ready for year-round adventures by allowing you to follow structured training plans on indoor and outdoor rides. Just load a workout or training plan into your SYSTM calendar and follow the targets set by the Wahoo Sports Science team to maximize efforts regardless of your training environment.
• Summit segments: Summit Segments not only bring a world of colour to climbs throughout your ride but allows you to see all the upcoming climbs along your preloaded route, so you can take on a new challenge or push for a PR on an old favourite.
• Public route sharing: Easily share your planned route with friends or nearby riders through the ELEMNT Companion App.
