The Colnago V5RS is the latest evolution of Colnago’s V Series, developed as a lightweight, aerodynamic racing platform that balances low weight, stiffness, responsiveness and precise handling. The ready-to-paint frame weighs just 685g, while the complete frame kit is 12.5% lighter than its predecessor without compromising rigidity.
Refined using experience gained from the Y1RS, the V5RS features thin, high-performance profiles with aerodynamic performance close to leading aero frames. Its narrow head tube contributes to a frontal area of just 250cm², a 13% reduction compared with the previous model, helping reduce air resistance.
A new, lighter fork provides more precise steering, while clearance for tyres up to 32mm allows riders to benefit from increased grip and control on uneven surfaces. New carbon lamination techniques carefully control fibre placement throughout the frame to create a lightweight and durable structure.
