The Effetto Mariposa Caffelatex Tubeless Valve is a high-quality accessory designed for any tubeless wheel. Manufactured in Italy to the highest standards, these valves offer a lightweight and reliable solution for modern rim profiles. Each pack includes two valves, two anodised aluminium caps, two rubber conic adapters, two nuts, and two o-rings.
Adaptability and Design
These valves are highly adaptable, working on both Presta and Schrader-drilled rims thanks to the included conic adapter. For Presta-drilled rims with a 6.5 mm hole, the flat rubber valve base may ensure air-tightness, or the conic adapter can be used. For Presta-drilled rims with a wider hole or Schrader-drilled rims with an 8.5 mm hole, the conic adapter should be fitted before insertion.
Effetto Mariposa has utilised an aluminium alloy that is designed to bend before breaking, providing the reliability required for modern rims. The valve cap also functions as a valve core key for added convenience.
Valve Core and Compatibility
The removable valve core allows for easy mechanism replacement and the fitting of Effetto Mariposa's tubeless-specific Caffélatex Valve Extensions. The 100 mm length is suitable for rim profiles between 61 and 90 mm. These valves, when combined with 35 mm or 45 mm Caffélatex Valve Extensions, allow for compatibility with virtually any rim on the market.
